CLASSIFYING FUZZY SUBGROUPS OF FINITE NONABELIAN GROUPS
In this paper a rst step in classifying the fuzzy subgroups of a nite nonabelian group is made. We develop a general method to count the number of distinct fuzzy subgroups of such groups. Explicit formulas are obtained in the particular case of dihedral groups.

متن کاملFinite Permutation Groups and Finite Simple Groups
In the past two decades, there have been far-reaching developments in the problem of determining all finite non-abelian simple groups—so much so, that many people now believe that the solution to the problem is imminent. And now, as I correct these proofs in October 1980, the solution has just been announced. Of course, the solution will have a considerable effect on many related areas, both wi...
متن کاملSimple groups of finite
The Algebraicity Conjecture treats model-theoretic foundations of algebraic group theory. It states that any simple group of finite Morley rank is an algebraic group over an algebraically closed field. In the mid-1990s a view was consolidated that this project falls into four cases of different flavour: even type, mixed type, odd type, and degenerate type. This book contains a proof of the conj...
متن کاملA classification of nonabelian simple 3-BCI-groups
For a finite group G and a subset S ⊆ G (possibly, S contains the identity of G), the bi-Cayley graph BCay(G, S) of G with respect to S is the graph with vertex set G × {0, 1} and with edge set {(x, 0), (sx, 1)|x ∈ G, s ∈ S}. A bi-Cayley graph BCay(G, S) is called a BCI-graph if, for any bi-Cayley graph BCay(G, T ), whenever BCay(G, S) ∼= BCay(G, T ) we have T = gS , for some g ∈ G, α ∈ Aut(G)....
